Do I need to wear a hairnet under my riding hat when showing in hand?

Yes, if you're wearing a riding hat, it's best to have a bun with hairnet (or bun net), or just a hair net if your hair is quite short.

I have my hair in a bun and netted - does make a difference - the final touches are what counts.

When showing you should aim to be at neat and well turned out at possible. I make as much effort at local shows as I do at the larger shows I am now starting to do.

Not all judges appreciate it locally, but when they do it can make a difference to the placings.
