Lockdown has got me looking at bling...

Help me overcome this. A hogged cob with a common as muck head needs a plain, fat hunter bridle. She'd look ridiculous in bling, right?

This is not a head that can carry off sparkly orange sh!t.

You say 'plain, flat hunter bridle' but I think a plain flat hunter bridle is a beautiful thing, and your cob will no doubt rock that look. I have an Arab and would love him to look nice in a plain flat hunter bridle but he just wouldn't

However, if you want bling, go for it. She's a beautiful girl and surely deserves sparkles and shiny things

She does, indeed, rock the plain bridle. But lockdown plus winter has got me wanting SPARKLE. Perhaps I'll just buy her an LED browband sleeve.

I’m all for a bit of bling! Try some photoshopping of an image with some bling and see if she suits? I buy mine from Wolds Exclusive Bling on Facebook and she designs it to the colours, width, length, shape and rows as you want to suit.

Nooo, I don't do pink! Our matchy-matchy colour is orange, and I'm not changing it! Even the horsebox is orange!

Then again, I always swore I didn't do bling, and look at me now.

Besides, she's got so much roaning that she changes colour every five minutes. At the moment, she's mostly mud-coloured. Even the white bits. Especially the white bits.

Life is too short not to have bling if you want it! Somewhere like Equiture has a whole enormous range of bling to choose from, ranging from subtle sparkle to full magpie. She will look lovely!

My old cob mare with a head like a butcher block always looked nice in a clincher browband, that was about as blingy I was willing to go/that she could pull off

Equiture do nice ones I have a curved one with Smokey grey stones with clear around the edge fo one of my Arabs, it's really blingy but because of the colour quite understated which I like.

Looking for everyday saddle after shelling out £££££ on showing one but obviously have huge shouldered cob who needs a flat (native/hoop) tree so options limited.

Stampede equestrian do a couple of orange blingy brow bands which are currently in the sale I think. She's very gorgeous and is allowed bling should she want it ?

Equiture! They’re lovely browbands. I’m swithering between 2 blue ones. Must be blue as my guy has blue eyes!

In a vital update, Blue is now a pretty, pretty princess with a sparkly tiara. I hate myself, but she doesn't look as ridiculous as I thought she would. The browband is from Horsemanship Saddlery - they were half the price of most of the others, and her bridle is from them so I knew it would fit. (Please don't judge my clip job. I'm still learning!)
