Lockheed brakes

I know this is a long shot but worth a try. I recently bought a rice trailer and need to replace one of the brakes on it as all the other are fine. Only need the brake expander but struggling to find one. Does anyone know where the best place to get one would be. Would save me a fortune if I could get hold of one. If not it means replacing both axles at a small fortune. Would be will to pay over the odd for it if it saves me £1200

Firstly, you may get a better response to this if you post your thread in The Tack Room - there is more traffic there.

Second, (and I would imagine you already have) - but have you tried a Google search for the particular part you need?

You may also want to go through Facebook for groups dedicated to this type of trailer (I know it's niche but I'm a member of various extremely niche horsey FB groups - used Premier Equine rugs anyone?!) and put a post up in case anyone is scrapping one for parts. Maybe also try contacting any local second hand trailer dealers, as they might have some helpful contacts?
