hiya x my pony has a balding patch on either side of his back (where the end of the saddle is) i think its loin rubbing. could anyone explain what this is and what causes it? it is more bald then the rest of his coat if you know what i mean hahahaha, and one side has a small lump....but that may have been a muscle!! but anyway i could hardly feel it today. anyway....so could it mean has saddle doesnt fit? it was fitted by a saddle and its a wintec...but he has put a bit of weight since then hahahaha. he has 11 numnahs hahaha some cotton, some wool lined etc. i usually just use a cotton one, but recently have used a polypad or half pad for more padding as the patches are a bit sensitive (if i press them he dips down) they dont seem to bother too much...no ears back or resisting the tack or ANYTHING so i think hes ok. hes quite short in the back and the saddle is quite big (due to my big bum 
). any suggestions on what to do. 
oh and also hes had them for years but i think theyre noticible now coz hes maulting xx
