Yeay! My boy is feeling better, he had a bit of a chill so I kept him in for a bit. Felt sorry for him and myself - he was bored, I missed riding him
Today tho YO told me he was well enough to go back out again so took him up to the field and turned him loose.
He was soo funny running round with his tail right up cantering over to his friends one by one to have a sniff, stopping to splash in puddles and then cantering around again. Think he was enjoying his freedom again after being in for a week and a bit
Getting the farrier to come see him asap too because his shoes need replacing but didn't want to get them out when he was ill in case it was catching

Thanks I was a little worried for a while there that it might have been something more than just a chill but everything turned out right as rain. Felt like a bad mum though because he did look pretty sorry for himself stuck in his stable, he usually only stays in for one or two nights at a time.
Bought him a snak a'ball to help break the boredom because he'd figured out how to decimate a turnip in seconds ha ha! Went in to muck him out this morning and it looked like he'd been playing football with it overnight as his bed had obvious "tracks" in it and the ball was floating in his big water bucket! He must have given it a fair kick!
