Ive been living and working in London since finishign uni last summer and love it. However, Ive spent the summer teaching at various pony clubs across the country and am really missing regular riding and horse contact! Does anyone know of somewhere in London where the lessons are good and dont cost the earth or does anyone have a horse which needs exercising or commetting ? I am working towards my stage 3 and have my pony club 'B' test and PTT, I have worked on big yards and had my own horses but since going to uni and getting a full time job I have not had the time to commit to a full time horse. Any suggestions would be great!

Hello there,

I live in SE London and ride regularly at Mount Mascal Stables in Bexley, Kent. I drive there, but there are also regular trains from central London. There are some excellent instructors, and a private lesson on your choice of horse costs £27. It is also possible to go out for lovely hacks around local wooded bridleways. I would thoroughly recommend the place. In fact, it was recommended to me by someone on here!

Oh, and I often see adverts for sharers on the yard noticeboard...

I have also tried the RS on Mudchute (the Isle of Dogs). PM me if you want any info.
