Lonely (only) whippet

Not sure if this allowed or not. I had two whippets but sadly one went to doggie heaven last week. The remaining girl is very sad and lonely.

I have a good country (horsey) home to offer to a whippet or small lurcher bitch if anyone knows a dog that needs a home. I have had whippets all my life so I am an experienced running dog owner (we had 5 at one time !)

I work part time but I come home at lunchtimes and my husband gets home by 4pm each day. My experience of re-homing centres is that this is not acceptable to them.

failing that most rescues like Dogs Trust usually have loads of lurchers looking for homes. Hope you are able to find a friend for your girl.
