Who do these people think they are ?!!!

Do they behave like this when their boss asks them to do something they don't really want to do at work ??

How do they get through everyday life situations ?!

How absolutely rude and aggressive, completely uncalled for !!

I have seen this on livery yards and it's every reason that it's a tough job to do.
 
Agree with the others, explain problem to YO and see what solution they come up with. At the end of the day if P is really that bad and people are too afraid to go into the field, then surely it is P who should be separated and put in on his own? :o :o
 
Fantastic to see your update and that the owner causing the issue has gone (taking the poor horse with them). Your horse will now be safe - great news. As per my earlier post, as the owner of a horse that could be very badly behaved with others (but who acted responsibly resulting in no injuries and happy horses), there is no excuse. Its just good that the owner flipped out enough for the YO to have the excuse to say 'Enough!'

Sounds like you got a good result.

I own horse who doesn't play nice with others and every single time I move yards, I have to launch a massive yard hunt for ones that provide individual turn-out and explain that my horse relentlessly chases and attacks other horses. Any owner who puts blinkers on with regards to their horse's behaviour needs a kicking. I'm glad this guy got kicked out of your yard.

I had one YO who swore that her herd could magically teach my horse manners and in spite of my warnings, put my horse out with them (my first experience of full livery on a British yard, where it seems as though it is not abnormal for a YO to make executive decisions about your horse and tell you after. Not like the US. This proved to not be the first nor only time that a YO assumed that I, as a mere amateur horse owner, was a complete idiot who doesn't really know horses... is this just my international perspective??? I digress....). A week later, the horse was back in the smaller field with a pony and the YO said, surprised, "Your horse is really nasty to other horses, claimed that pony for herself, and was attacking anything that went near the pony, so now she's in a separate field with the pony." Well, I bloody well told you, didn't I? Duh.
