Long awaited arrivals of the terrier variety

We have been keeping this very quiet in our day to day life, but this weekend our pip safely brought three little terriers into the world.

Breeding on both bitch and dogs side can be traced back multiple generations, the dog was the last on his side and so these pups were long awaited .

They are teenie tiny time wasters and pip is being such a doting mother .

Unfortunately not , they are all spoken for (in fact we had a reserve list of people interested !!) .

Although I think my Labrador is quite please about that , she has a hard enough time living with one terrier

She's brilliant , soft as butter but also a keen little mouser !

Dad is the same , both working farm types with straight legs .

So many now are crossed with sausage dogs to get this strange colours and have legs pointing at 10 to 2

I am so pleased they have been reserved already as I had picked one out for myself! They would do nicely with my two but I am sitting here with both of mine and have daughters for the next 3 weeks too so I think OH would not be impressed . Congratulations they are beautiful and mums expression is super sweet. Dad is very smart. Please keep the photos coming.

My favourite is the big bruiser in the middle , big dog pup ... he rolls around like a little potato

I've just shown my husband this and he said they're quite smart before quickly saying please no more dogs

I love potato boy in the middle. My husband looked and said "who is the one who ate all the pies" Lol he's a bruiser. I'll have the vocal boy he'll go well with my very vocal boy and my rather loud girl. If homes fall through I think you could find them homes on here many times over

Potato boy came first, ( poor pip) but did mean the other two practically fell out after he cleared the way .

Well done Pip, the pup in the middle is a whopper! Dad is a very striking boy. I would be hopeless and want to keep them all, we have three terriers so I'm not aloowed any more but the youngest one's mum is expecting again and I would love to persuade my son and daughter in law to have one of the pups.

Lovely contented pups , and proper JRTs . Many years ago (nearly 50 ) , our JR , called Spud - good name for potato pup -had a singleton pup . She was nicknamed The Blob while in the nest , we kept her of course and she was Blob all 15 years of her life .

Unfortunately the home we had lined up for him has fallen through, I'm trying to persuade OH we need a potato pup in our life permanently but he's not giving in
