Recommendations for comfortable long black boots that come up high enough and don't take an age to be worn in. Not looking for anything expensive.
Thanks

I like the Mark Todd field competition boots, and I know they do a budget version too, they wear in right away and are very comfy, and they have a nice high top. But in all honesty they are looking a little shabby now, I think it is because the leather is quite soft, they are still completely functional but not smart enough for competitions anymore.

I'm lusting after a pair of DeNiros though, they look beautiful and many are at sale prices on the Brogini website, just not in a size 8!

I have a pair of Brogini boots for showing but one of the zips sometimes 'parts' during use. I contacted Brogini to ask about replacement zips but was surprised by their poor customer service, so much so that I've now bought some lovely Tredstep 'Donatella' boots.
They are very comfortable and reasonably priced.
