I am hunting for some nice brown leather tall boots in short and reg/med wide.
I would appreciate any recommendations of good (and bad)

Ooooh, I'm watching this. I'd love some boots like that. All the lovely long leather boots seem to be made for the people I hate - those with the long, slim legs which go right up to their armpits!!!!!

I've a 27" inside leg and have Hyland Londonderry winter riding boots which are a perfect length for my short legs. I don't know if their other boots have the same measurements though. I've found them very comfortable, more comfortable than higher priced counterparts, and they are lasting well.

I've got a 25" inside leg and would recommend Tuffa side saddle boots. They're cut slightly shorter than tall boots so are great for little legs. I'd tried many major brands' (Tredstep, Ariat, Dublin, Mountain Horse, etc.) 'short' offerings before those and none were actually short enough.

I’ve just bought a pair of Moretta Gianna boots in wide which fit my cob legs. They do a lovely brown colour too and they only cost £100 from R&R. Hmmm, no Brahman this year, I feel another purchase coming on......

I found terrible reviews on DeNiro's earlier this year when I was shopping for new boots - put me off buying.

I'm not sure on short leg recommendations but IIRC Ariat/MH/Tredstep had decent size ranges when I was looking.
