I am struggling to find a pair of brown leather long boots to fit. I have just tried the Ariat Heritage Contour where the Full width was perfect but even short was about 3cm too long and even with a drop these would be too long.
Other than going down the custom route, any suggestions would be helpful. I have looked and can only find some XS in black but I do wish to have brown.
Thanks!

Brogini do good leg length choice but they aren't hard wearing.

I've got two pairs of heels risers in my Ariat boots.
Shires Moretta range have fitted me well, too.

I have short fat legs and have a pair of De Niros - they have loads of sizes options off the shelf, not custom, but I did travel to find a shop with loads of stock so I was giving myself the best chance of finding the one for me!

Mountain Horse used to be good for short and wide but I haven’t bought any for ages so not sure if they still do so.

I bought a pair of Moretta Gianna boots recently and thought they would be way too long for my short legs. Popped a pair of 3cm heel risers in and they've started to drop now so have taken them out. Very comfy from day one too

Cavallo and De Niro have many combinations available and you don’t pay for made to measure boots.

My everyday boots are from Busse, the model is called Laval. They come in many combinations as well.

How much did they drop ?
Mine are still too long.

I'd say 2-3cm without measuring. When I first had them, I could not bend my leg in them without severe pain. Had 3cm heel risers, slathered with leather conditioner, walked around the house, tried to soften them any way I could without ruining them. Now I can wear them without the risers and they don't cut into the back of my knee when I bend/sit.

Tuffa side saddle boots are brill. I'm 4 ft 11 and they're the only tall boots short enough for me. Even all the childrens boots I'd tried before had been too long.
