I’m aware that my budget is possible unrealistic for what I’m looking for but hoping the hive mind might have answers.

I’m looking for a nice pair of boots for training sessions. I have some petries I picked up in a sale for competing.

I’d like something a bit different - polo boot style in brown maybe. Something like a Celeris or Donadeo. However I don’t have the budget for those new and the second hand market isn’t looking promising either as I have large feet (6.5 or 7) and slim (32cm) short calves.

any shopping suggestions?

Keep an eye on the Celeris samples page on their website as they often have, erm, 'unusual' sizes 😊
Also Nikki Moxon often has good deals on boots.

I am a bit bigger on the calf and they have a little bit of stretch, I would say OK as long as you are not super-ski ny.

Not sure on suggestions, but I have pair of the old Ariat heritage contours (the original gorgeous brown decent leather) that could do with a good home. They're in a decent condiiton, just too small for me on the calf now 🙈

Shout if you would like the measurements :)
