Long boots.

Have looked for 4 weeks now trying to get a pair of size 8 long riding boots (not expensive ones) for my 11 year old son. He is a big foot but all the sz 8 ones have been too tall in the leg for him, anyone know of any brand of boot that is shorter in the leg no more than 15 inch from floor to back of his knee? He needs them with a zip to help him get them on.

Have you gone to a tack shop?
I went to our local tack shop as I want a pair of long boots but I have fat calfs

and they do them in different calf sizes. I know your not asking about calf sizes in boots but maybe they will be able to order the correct size for your son.

Mountain horse do loads of lengths and widths. Depends how much you want to spend tho.
