Please please please leave your reviews of your long riding boots, trials and errors and everything I need a new pair that will last a while and have no idea!:(

Love my mountain horse boots. Can't remember the exact name but think they're the competition ones - very slim fitting, super soft leather, really look smart and comfy too.

I have Ariat Bromonts for everyday which are comfy now but were a pain to break in. Some De Niro's for best which were comfy and soft from new. Some Treadstone Da Vinci's which I wasn't keen on, so sold them. Latest additions are some Ariat Volants. They look weird but are like riding in my slippers :)

I had ariat bromonts for everyday. They wore well, were very comfy and lasted about 5 years, although i did have to replace the zips a couple of times. I have a pair of equiclass boots for shows, which are beautiful!

I think you should give some idea of your price range as they come in prices from cheap through reasonable to eye wateringly painful. ;)

Hi sorry! Probably £150 max as dads paying lol he still expects me to wear wee rubber boots from the local shop! Suppose I have to keep checking ebay for now haha:)

Flurryjuno: Have a look at these, your Dad will probably be very pleased with the price. My daughter had a pair & they looked good, fitted well & lasted her ages........ everything your Dad would want. These have the laces in & the bottom one has no laces ]

Daughter is now older, earns her own money & is responsible for her own boot buying now. :)

Mark Todd long leather riding boots - RRP £118 but you can get them for about £90 from eBay or equestrian clearance.

The standard ones are very long in the leg though - I'm 5'10" and they come up into the crease behind my knee (ouch until they drop) :o
