Ok what I've come to ask is about long riding boots. I've been riding in jodphur boots since I started riding, but since i discovered chaps its been a half hour struggle getting them on(i mean the chaps) and I just can't find any to fit me nicely- I come back from riding with big prints in my skin.

So basically I think it'd be much easier if I had long riding boots. But I was wodering if they'd mess up my leg posistion, or make it better etc. My jumping posis is really improving atm, so I don't want aything to change there. Any views/tips on this?? I've never ridden in long boots before!

That turned out longer than I expected!!! Oh and one last thing-any good 'long riding boot' brands you could suggest?

Thankies!!

Long boots, if anything should help your leg position. Sounds like your chaps aren't wide enough if they take that long to put on and mark your legs.

I can't find any nice show long boots to fit me as only 5'3, so i treated myself to Sergio Grasso leather chaps, and they fit me just so... and looks very smart
