Hi
I have just bought some new long leather boots to wear when I compete but they are a tad on the wide side around my calf. Ironic really as I have been struggling to find boots wide enough for my fat legs! Having finally found some I can actually zip up I seem to have gone to the other extreme and they are a little loose (I know, no pleasing some people!
)
so.......my question is......is it possible to get boots adjusted and taken in slightly around the calf? if so, who is the best person to approach, saddler or cobbler?! Finally, if it is possible to be done and anyone has any experience of having boots made narrower, does it have a decent result? i.e. can you tell it has been done and how do the boots feel after?
Thank you in advance
P.S. If it's needed, the boots are zip up, not pull on and I am in Shropshire!
