very sadly it looks like my regali ricchis are coming to the end of their life-they are in perfect condition apart from the zips-already had one replaced and now the other one is starting to go.
Think its due to them being a bit baggy now especially round the ankle so my heel moves against the zip.Im going to take them in and see if anything can be done-ie narrow them a bit even if i can have them for everyday.

Anyway im looking for recomendations..i like the high cut tops although dont necessarily have to have a little badge/button type thing at the top and i like them to be soft but still offer a little protection, they will be mainly used for eventing so cant have stiff dressage boots!! Will have to come in a wide range of sizes and be slim around the ankle.

any recommendations will be great:)

Regali's are made by Sarm now

I am currently boot hunting!! I will end up with either M2M Broginis or the new Mountain Horse boots. I have very difficult legs to fit, and the Mountain Horse ones are the only ones that fit!!! Broginis are lovely though

ooo:)
well i think im going to take mine to the cobbler-i will probs have them rezipped and see if they can cut them to make them narrower anyway...even if i end up wioth those for home wear...or just until i find some more......then i think i will spend some time travelling round and trying lots on, im thinking of asking for some for christmas.....although i should probably find a horse first ....boots are no good if im not riding!!

If you have slim ankles and small feet the kids mountain horse are good apart from the fact that the zips often go.I also bought a pair of equitector(ill check name tommorrow boots are down yard) they are slim round the ankle and come in various fittings. They would be good for any discipline and are really soft.

thanks
i dont really like the mountain horse ones to be honest
i do like the sarms and the sergios/borginis etc its just a matter of making sure i try them on..

I used to have Parlanti & F.illi Fabbri boots which cost the earth and the zips busted every 5 months regular as clockwork. I've had De Niro boots (about £265 I think) since the summer and find them every bit as good comfort-wise and the zips are far better than the £500+ boots.

i have very skinny ankles unlike rest of me and my cavallos fit lovely. they are pretty long though and high cut because my leg is quite long from knee downwards (pity about short stubby thighs!) and i hate it whn you book finishes six inches below the knee! they were not even close to cheap though but well worth it i think.
