SO I get my bonus soon and will be buying some new long leathe rboots hopefully as the ones I have although they look new they are very very stiff still and I dont XC in them.

I know this kind of post has been done a few times but nothing much seems to come up, would be great if people could give me some links or names of boots.

Am ideally looking for very very soft skin like leather ones they are very flexible! With laces at the front.

Help woul dbe much appreciated!!

i have a pair of fellinis, (itailian boots) and they are lush, very soft leather very flexible and didn't take hardly any wearing in, i would get another pair in an instant. they are much more comfy and softer than brogini and sergio's and most def much softer than regent!

i'll try and find a no or something for you, i know that they used to come over esp. for olympia, hoys, hickstead etc.

let me have a look .......

Just bought a pair of sarm hippique and love um.
They were reduced from £400 to £200

I have a pair of french leather riding boots which i bought from gatcombe 12 years ago. They are seriously soft and lovely - retail about £300. Cant remember what they are called tho - begins with S.

Echo BBs and kick_on, and I know MdM has them too. Prices seem to vary, but worth going for ones that seem really too small in the calf as they stretch quickly. The online guide I used (think it was Frogpool's) sized me two sizes wider than what my local saddlers made me buy, which have turned out to fit beautifully. It might be worth going to Frogpool's shop for something like this, they can't be too far from you and then you'll be able to compare lots.

Broginis have always been recommended to me; am also really impressed by the Ariat long boots that I've seen too

i am needing some new ones too...mine may well be for sale i dont know if you would be interested? they are good condition but just too big...they may be for you as well though as i would imagine we are similarly built.
they are regali ricchis which are lovely boots very much the same as sarms.

if i do decide to sell mine i will be lookin at sarms/sergios/broginis but will have to try them on.

Jokernut are you thinking about F.illi Fabbri boots - I got mine at Hickstead, they are made to measure and fit like a glove. Mine still took a little while to break in but nothing compared to other boots I have had.
The website is http://www.stivalifabbri.it/ but they are sometimes a little difficult to get hold of.

there is a company that go to the big events called Joshua Jones --- I think! Cant find them on the net though but their boots looked lovely at olympia and someone at my yard had a pair made in brown leather and they are beautiful, im sure the price she said is within your budget.
I have a pair of broginis (sp) they arent that comfortabe and i currently have a scarred ankle from wearing them all day ! so will be waiting till hickstead or another big event to find JJ or similar - also at olympia sederholm saddlery had some beautiful leather boots.
Happy Shopping!

I haven't read the other posts, but just wanted to say I LOVE my Sarms

They have felt comfortable from the first moment I have worn them and are incredibly soft leather

I would also recommend the Sarm's and they do some that are a little over £200. They are incredibly comfortable.

stevegg - well done - i'm such a thicko at times!! they are the ones, i have the paddock boots 6000-1 and i love them, the guy told me when i brought them that they have 120 different sizes in each size shoe, i.e. in a size 6, they have 120 different height/width combos, handy as apparently we all have one leg wider/longer than the other, as he had to stretch one of my boots to get the perfect fit - which apparently is normal!

I've got Regali Ricchi boots and they were so comfy from the start. I used to get massive blisters with my old boots but these have never rubbed

Think they were about £225 from our local saddler.

I LOVE my broginis nearly cut my circulation off in my calf to start with but have always been very very soft and very shiney too!! Friend has those and the Sergio Grasso and says that for the price difference (Brogini cheaper) there is no difference.....

Parlanti made to measure are the ultimate in long boots but very expensive.

There is a company called First Class Shoe repairs in Kent (but do freepost mailorder) and they stretch boots/add gussets to zips etc to get them to fit.

My boots stretched to my calves quite quickly but then my calves got bigger lol so have had them stretched!
