Long pasterns

What are peoples experience with long pasterns. I have a 4 year old thoroughbred x lipazarna. My first vet who vaccinated her thought they didn't really look long... had my third vaccination today and this vet said they are on the long side and just to watch as they may slope. Now I'm worried. More I read I think its all over (I am a bit dramatic when it comes to my ponies) the vet said she may just need support on her heals to make sure they don't slope. I do have a very good farrier who trimmed her and he wasn't too concerned. What are peoples experiences? I have a picture but don't know how to upload! Thanks in advance
