Can anyone recommend long riding boots for wide calves and short legs!

I'm looking at the fonte verde Marvo laced boots, are they worth the money?

I don't compete so just looking for nice boots for everyday riding

I love my Ariat Coniston Gtx boots with heel risers. There is a lot of adjustability in the calf as there are laces up the front. I'm 5.1 with very chunky calves ?

I've got the Mark Todd winter riding boots - not sure that they will be too long, but they fit my chunky calves. And the fleece lining is lovely. I ride in chaps/gaiters in summer with short boots as I find that's cooler.

I’ve just bought a pair of bareback boots as my the zip kept breaking on my Toggi Calgary’s (otherwise a lovely pair of boots). It’s early days yet but I really like them!

Depending on your size, and I know this sounds a bit barmy, but Soldier of Fortune do replica German officers jackboots for under £100....VERY wide calf, seriously comfortable and very tough, they are my every day boot! Only thing I would say is have rubber soles glued on. Also they come up a squeak short, you might want to have tops made.

Otherwsie my smart boots were made by Istvan Toth in Hungary, WAY cheaper than the UK, but measuring yourself is a major faff. Still, Easyjet is cheap......

Oh my these are just lovely I excitedly looked up their website and my foot size comes in a 36.5 calf. Waaaay too narrow for me :-(

mountain horse all the way, they are great regarding width and have different heights, a bit chunky looking for competition but ideal for round the yard. i got mine from e bay .brand new and under £90 including p &p
