i am looking to buy new long riding boots for competition and showing, i have tried the sarm hippique and brogini but find them too tight and cannot zip them up past my ankle as they swell (fine in the morning) i have tried ariat bromont but these are too baggy around the ankle. i was looking to buy the tredstep donatello dress boot as they have a stretch panel up the calf, does anyone have these?

I got some at badminton so the beginning of May still having trouble with them I struggle to get boots to fit so I'm persevering. My problem is the zip they were fitted by a professional fitter but it was a real struggle to fasten them but she said they stretch a lot so they fit them tight at first I was saving them for competitions and lessons but every time I wore them one or both zips would slide down when I was riding so I've started wearing them every time I go in the school aswell see if they stretch a bit more however some days the zips don't move on other days both disappear half way down my leg. Id save up and go for a better more expensive boot next time.

You must have missed out on finding the zip holder in the tab at the back that snaps closed. The tab on the zip slips through the slit in the inner piece of leather in the tab and then the whole thing snaps closed at the back of the boot. That way the zips can't move. I love mine.
