At the moment I own a pair of short/narrow equitector boots which I like but have outgrown them as they are particularly short and I would like something with a slimmer ankle. I've been looking at long riding boots (for competition use only) and have seen a few that I like which include: Regent Addington and Regent Buckingham, however I have particularly short, narrow calves and it would appear that not many boot makes cater for this. Both Regent boots were too long when I tried them on.

I did however, try on the Sergio Grasso Vicenza boots which I really liked but the ones I tried still didn't fit quite right, although I am told that there are loads of sizes for this make. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions of Sergio Grasso as I thought they felt very nice.

I have also seen the Cavallo riding boots which also look vey nice, but again I can't seem to find a good size chart to see if they will fit me.

Does anyone recommend any boot makes or know of any that cater for lots of sizes? I'm looking for a slim definition, dressage cut boot with no fancy crystal studs or anything on.

If it helps, I'm a size 5 1/2 (38) and leg height from knee to floor is approx 43cm. Calf width is approx 33cm.
Also, I'm a bit confused with what HE, XHE mean :S

Thanks

The sergio grasso boots are lovely

I've had a pair for over 2 years now and they still look new! easier to ride in than alot of other leather boots i found and very smart

Thanks for your reply

I could imagine them being really nice to ride in.
I would really like a pair of these but it depends whether they will fit me or not.

I have Konigs and they are fantastic - they have a huge range of sizes but they will make to measure too - I fitted an off the peg size! Thay look fab and they have a clever front zip so easy to get on and off!

Thanks
I will have a look

Looked at the de'niro's and they look like realy good quality but quite expensive. I just have doubts with ordering online just in case they don't fit. I bet made-to-measure boots cost a fortune do they not? Although, I do really want a good boot that will fit well and last a long time.
