"Long running script"

The posts on this forum are running slow on my laptop and a notice pops up that it is due to a long running script and there is a button to 'stop script' - my question is how do I permamently delete the slow running script whatever it might be?? Thanks!

This problem has been reported in the Feedback, queries section of the Forum and admin are aware and I believe are waiting for the IT bods to come in on Monday to resolve.

Glad it's not just me then. I thought my laptop had a virus or something. But everything else is running ok. It's very annoying.

I had same problem.
I am now using google chrome which I have been resisting for goodness knows how long and have had no problems since swapping over.

I also had a problem with facebook at the same time which made my computer almost unusable again that has gone since going to chrome. Kept getting "not responding" messages and computer freezing up.

I get it here too and on facebook but only on my laptop at home which is pretty clogged full of junk anyway so I figured it was just my laptop

Facebook keeps freezing on loading too, I wonder if it is to do with the recent IE upgrade?
