Sorry such a crap picture...
And thank you to FranA for the stills help (though I couldn't convert my Mov file in the end so had to screenshot)

Well i'm guessing you would know if it was an Albion, looking at the red tag but otherwise no idea

Thanks - I thought it might be an Albion. it's the saddle my horse had when I tried him a year ago and it was the easiest thing to ride in, ever. So comfy and just put me in the right place. I think I'd pay serious money for one of the same, so if anyone can tell me which I will be eternally grateful...

Definitley and Albion, have one an Albion Selecta, great saddle!

That looks like a Selecta, you can change the knee pannels (for dressage/jumping).

Got mine from ebay in the end as needed XXW for a very wide Irish draught and none of the saddlers had one!! Paid a fortune for it not far off £1000!! opss

Ahhhhhhhh, that makes sense - in that case yes, I would say it was a Selecta!

Look at the knee roll the knee pannel does not fit over it - hence this is using a dressage knee pannel.

Well i think its a Selecta, but who am i to say!

Haha I think I may have to - it's just she's a dealer of sorts and I thought it might seem bit of a strange request and she probably wouldn't remember anyway!

You certianly all know your saddles - I really appreciate it. Weezy you're right - the knee block does jut out, and it was quite a substantial knee block, I didn't notice what the flaps or panels were like.

Thanks guys, you're all brilliant!

xx

Ah thanks! I'm not sure it is one of those as it looks like it has the long girth straps, i.e. close contact panels.

I think I've got my work cut out today researching Albion saddles! I think I may be about to make a very large investment (assuming it would fit Ronnie of course, knowing my luck it won't).

Thanks Jess! xx

Right, the older owner says it was an "Albion jump saddle" - which I'm guessing would be a K2.

That was a seriously comfy saddle.

Thanks again everyone - the Selecta looks like a nice saddle too, if that's as comfy as the other one that might be a goer...

Yeah would have said is the K2 jump because of the shape of the back of theb seat/cantle, and also the block doesnt look long enough to be the GP. The selecta has "GP" style flater blocks bcause the "shaped" flaps that you add on have inbuilt blocks
