Long shot - looking for a 15'2-15'3' Intro horse

This is a long shot, I am looking for a mare or gelding upto 15'3 max, ideally no older than nine. Would like to compete at BE90, needs to be a straight forward jumper. Be good if he/ she could hunt from time to time. Riding club, dressage, show jumping in the winter. Must be sensible no rearers, buckers or bolters. I am based Bristol/ Bath area.
 
What is your ball park budget? FWIW I sold something which is exactly what you describe, and had hunting experience. Hadn't evented but was bold XC though snaffle mouthed and very polite, easy to do, hacked in the heaviest traffic, had gained mid60% scores in his first prelims, 6. Would put in the occasional buck if someone cantered past you - but v straight and easy to sit (not trying to get you off, more exuberance). Needed to travel in company. £5K. Phone rang off the hook, sold him in 3 days to the first person who came to view him. You are looking for exactly what a lot of other people are looking for! I am the same area as you.
 
I'm looking for almost exactly the same as you, just a bit bigger, also in the same area as you...where are they all?!! They all seem to be in North Yorkshire, or they're 17.2!
 
Eventer friend of mine in Wiltshire has two for sale. I will PM you her number. Ali16 on here also has a few that she produces and events? Hurston Dressage and Eventing, she is just Hungerford ish?
 
Like SC says, you are looking for the same as everyone else, me included :p I want a 16 - 16.2 MW gelding to do all the same things you want to do.
I agree they all seem to be 17.2 or in Yorkshire
 
I have a lovely mare (the one in my avatar) who has just been returned from the most ridiculously short loan ever. And was returned from the loan prior to that after just under a month because her loaner upset my yard owner. I wasn't planning to sell because she's too nice but I've been put right off, so if anybody is interested in a lovely 16.2 Oldenburg, amazing jump, always placed unaff dressage/sj, fab hunter, safe hack, general allround lovely girl in Wiltshire, do let me know! She isn't advertised but will be in the region of £3.5k.
 
Thats my other problem, i want a gelding. If i wanted a mare it would be sooo much easier.
I have no problem with mares but my other boy was used as a stallion when younger so i know it would be easier to have a gelding
 
I have just bought something similar, however only 4 but should event intro with ease. It was either buying this type, or spending about 15k (not that i have it!) on a 6 year old that's done BE100!
I was lucky and he sort of landed in my lap, but a friend who is looking for this exactly cannot find anything. They have travelled everywhere and yet nothing! Good luck- not sure whether its our area (same as you) or the time of year...possibly spring might be a bit more hopeful?
 
Grey Eventer, both my friends are Wiltshire (ish) and have two boys each between 15.3 ans 16.2. All are being advertised within the next month so if your friend wants their numbers before they are advertised, let me know.
 
I will be advertising my mare at the end of March - 15.2hh, passported as rising 7, but much more likely to be rising 6. Very easy to handle, you can literally drag her anywhere/do anything with her. Bold, brave, scopey & good paces - would BE90 sometime this season with a bit of work. Hunted a few times as a 4/5 y/o (was impatient to wait - but I think this would improve the more she does), teamchased, unaff evented, PC Camps. Snaffle mouthed for everything. Has a quirky personality, a bit sharp sometimes, but not stupid. Currently based in Shropshire, but will be moving her back to Leicestershire for Easter Uni Holidays. Really sweet, talented little mare. Only selling her as I feel too big for her, and I don't have the time for 2 horses whilst I'm at Uni.

He is bomb-proof in all sorts of traffic and good to handle ie. shoe, clip, travel etc. He will happily live in or out all through the Winter.
To date he has hunted, team chased, done unaffiliated ODE (PC level 3/BE90) and all types of PC and RC activities.
He is happily jumping 95/100 and will go at whatever speed the jockey is happy with. (Double clear at the AVHPC Xmas showjumping at 95cms.)

Im looking for a slightly bigger horse (16.1-16.3) in the North West area but good luck in your search. If anyone knows of anything suitable please pm me. Sorry to hijack post.
 
Hi There, I have a fab,low mileage 16hh Dark bay,stunning TB( never raced and not narrow), who is rising 14 and would easily BE90.
He is very sane and always admired at RC events, clinics etc and is very
genuine to a fence. He was 3rd in his only ODE last year with DC and 29 drssage with little prep. He is foward but safe and a super allrounder and took me absolutely ages to find. Easy to take to events on your own and good all ways as well as looking good. The only problem is that I now need something less interesting to lead my daughter off out hunting. My boy loves hunting too much to want to pootle around at the back. If you are interested give me a ring on 07834 892962, or if anyone has a horse suitable to hack, fun rides and hunt with a small pony attatched, whilst still being quality and not a cob or coloured ( sorry), and happy to do the odd HT for fun,let me know. swap poss ( + money if appropriate)
