Long Sutton-Lincs people

Hi didn't realise there are so many horsey people around long sutton. I have a beautiful coloured cob, but I would say that as she is my first horse and I am only starting out!
Are any of you going to Whaplode show on sunday might see you there look out for the coloured cob standing on two legs ha ha...

PWH - yes I'm just round the corner from George and Cynthia - my field pretty much backs onto the back of theirs!

Not sure if we'll compete at LS - bit busy for OH's mare and nothing for my boy.

We'll have to have an H+H meet up there!

March is definitely not too far away!

Just stumbled across this post some time later.
This awful woman kept a couple of those poor equines in a field next to mine last winter (a grey TB, a bay cob and a little grey welshie sort) . They were left out in the freezing cold with a hardly a blaze of grass and NOTHING else. I reported it to the owner's of the field who did nothing even though I know they are so called 'horsey people' cos I bought my house and yard off them. In fact they told my farrier that I was 'sticking my nose in' (DISGUSTING PEOPLE).
When I reported it to the ILPH they came up and said they could only give words of advice and were having trouble finding this woman. Soon after the TB went then the ponies followed soon after cos the people next door sold up. However, a couple of months later I had a big grin on my face when this woman walked into Wisbech Police Station to be interviewed by the RSPCA for animal cruelty (can't say how I know obviously).
So, she obviously got what was coming and hopefully those horses and ponies and now being looked after.

I've seen the big red coca cola van lol

Your boyfriend?

I know lots of people on sight, but know no names hardly. I'm suprised at how many people know me when I'm out and about lol Being relatively new to the area I know no-one, I'm always complaining to hubby that I don't like the area as I hardly know anyone...then I get random people stopping for chats when I'm trying to get on lol
