hello everyone hope your all well and the gg's are on top form.
well a lot has happened in my life in the last few months. i have gone from a part time shop assistant to full time yard manager phew what a change hard work but loving it. i sub rent and provide full/ part livery on a lovely yard whilst managing the rest with fantastic hacking, facility's etc and have now moved my horses there (if only i had time to enjoy them lol). i can tell you going from livery to yard personnel has taught me a lot about what really should and is included in livery (no 5 rug changes and 4 feeds a day is not included let alone walking out for a blade of grass because it is too precious to go out with others).
Anyways rant over and now for a gushing report on my new boy Hugo who was bought in may. what a lovely young chap he is turning out to be. we started from scratch as he had very little muscle or balance being a young dumblood who is still growing. we worked on chilled behavior (not difficult) and lots of walking about up and down hills working up to his first dressage walk and trot b in august. well proud mummy alert he was an angel behaving perfectly and winning on a score of 66.5% yay good boy.
Hugo has also been learning about leaving the ground which he thinks is the most fun ever. he is now starting to make a nice shape over fences and hasn't batted an eyelid at fillers or anything.
hunting was interesting we went autumn hunting and all was well for the first hour or two but then things went a little haywire. think a little more experience is needed but defo potential there fingers crossed.
anyways here comes a picture overload
the day i tried him
