Hi guys (also in SY)

Can any of you recommend any good boots for doing yard work in?

I'm looking for long boots:
that are warm
waterproof
hard wearing
withstand lots of mud
that i can ride in if i need to

I have my hunters but they aren't warm enough for all day on the yard in winter.
I have my muck boots but they have some holes/splits in them and i've only had them a year so i am unsure about spending so much money on getting another pair if they are only going to last a year. At over £75 a pair i would like them to last a few years.

Thanks

I've got the Muck Boot Tyne's which are the riding ones and the price has shot up over the last few months.

I do like them but they need to last longer than a year for what they cost.

I'm happy to spend money on boots that will last a few years

I have the Dublin River boots, had them about 9 months and so far so good, I'm warm, comfortable and dry, ride in them more often than my proper boots.

Only thing I can't vouch for it how long they'll last, although they look like they've got a long time left in them...

I have just brought another pair of woof wear muck boots.

They cost me £30 from Surrey Equestrian and the last pair lasted me three years, I have a feeling that this pair may last longer as they have altered the design of the boot now to have an extra thick rubber peice at the heel to kick off the boots with.

Highly recommended!
