Just wondered if any one else was going? Havn't had any info yet from the organisers and its suddenly very near.
I'm jut relieved I live close by. We are going and am amazed that there has been nothing online or in the post about it relating to entries, times, sections, speeds or passes. Gives me concerns about how the event itself will be run tbh.
Thanks for your replies. Have to say something Iv been looking forward to for months, and now I'm feeling decidedly nervous. I so hope it all comes together![]()

Feeling the same. Hopes are raised that at last things are falling into place, then nothing.....
Still hoping though it comes together, but if the volunteers are being kept in the dark too??
Will be amazing if it all ends up being together, certainly feel they have maybe been over ambitious sadly at our expense.
Agree with the general sentiment, I'm afraid.. I'm very concerned that we don't have at least section lists up, even if actual times are not yet known - at least it gives you a chance to plan the day slightly. It's unclear whether you have to pay for your helpers to get in, and if so how much too. I'd assumed it would be free, but some mutterings from friends who are also going led me have have a closer look!!
I know these things take time to organise, but we're now less than two days from the site opening, and no-one seems to have a clue what's going on! If they say times are going up, they should put them up (or don't say anything at all!) I really hope they manage to pull something spectactular out of the bag at the last minute, but it's not looking at all optimisic. I think there could be a lot of us very disappointed.
I went, did the 2 day 90 and came 4th! Really enjoyed it despite my worries, the steeplechase, roads and tracks and xc were amazing! The xc course was one of the best I have ridden, beautiful well made jumps. The hill we had to climb up and down did make life a bit difficult and I think that is something they need to address, as well as the errors on the scoring.... Showers were pretty disgusting too and only one food outlet stayed open - even that was closed on the Sunday night! Glad I chose to pay extra for American barn stabling, my horse is huge and would never have fitted in the normal ones. If they run it again I will probably enter is as the actual competing bit more than made up for the other niggles.
