I have been a lurker for a long time and have learnt a lot from reading countless posts on here. Got my horse a few months ago so thought I would join in on the fun.

He is becoming the sweetheart that i viewed after a rocky settling patch and we have been having fun together in the sun.

Just a hello, oh and some pictures :-)

Yay he looks lovely! I was also a lurker like you until I encountered a few posts I couldn't help commenting on... and the rest is history!

Shopping for new gear is definitely one of the perks of entering horse-ownership!!! I had a ball when I got back into horses just over a year ago. Just you wait though... its a slippery slide from "ooo that's new and shiny, I must get it!" to "maybe I don't actually need that" and "this cheap second-hand version will do just as good of a job as a new version" !!!

He's lovely Rafie! and welcome out into the light from your previous lurking! more imfo is needed, we are nosy on here, how old is he, where did you get him, details Rafie, we need details!!! :)
ps, that rug is almost obscene in its cleanliness! x

Thank you shady! He is an ISH (bred in England ha) rising 10. He is my first horse after having a long break from riding, had ponies as a child. Got him from a guy who was selling him as his had no rider for him, he has been passed around quite a bit. Even had a spell in a Irish trekking centre. (an ish bred in England sent to Ireland then came back- he is well traveled haha) Rang his breeder who's first words were "are you experienced?" que panic haha! Had a rocky settling in patch so my mum came and stayed for abit to help me out, now I am on my own an it's all going soundly- fingers crossed. He hasn't got the best conformation and came skinny with no muscle, but puts up with me figuring out where all my fingers and toes go, so he can stay :-)
