longwood ec

Hi, It's just down the road from Finni and I. Go there sometimes as it is so close, but generally prefer Norton Heath.

The warm up can get very deep and boggy in the wet, but is quite a good size.

Good parking.

Nice big indoor school, but surface can be a little deep in places.

Lots of parking, easy to get to.

Cafe and Bar.

BUT on SJ days it can be packed and as HollyJane will tell you....the warm up can then be a nightmare! but I think that can be the case at any venue.

Warm up very deepy and boggy. Indoor big but horrid surface, uneven surface and very poor lighting. Cafe very smokey. Tack shop nice!!!! I do go there when theres nothing else on but is not one i would recommend.

not been to norton heath but its definately on the list of 'must go to'.. getting a new lorry next week so can travel further afield so looking at where we can go. my current 30 yr old lorry ,i only drive it as far as i have to and it isnt in my good books today at all !

Norton Heath is nice. Avoid Clear round on a monday...very busy! Wednesday evenings are good.

Generally well run

Another vote for Norton Heath over Longwood here!

Plus if you're coming from Suffolk, I'd say Norton Heath would be easier to get to possibly? Off the A12 southbound at the A414 (Chelmsford) and keep going till you see the signs! Very straightforward route.
