these little guys nest at the yard every year, am I right in thining they are swallows?? I'm not very "up" on wild birds!!

yes! i have them in my stables too and you can't legally move them. They dive bomb people sometimes! They've always preferred stable areas generally for some odd reason.

I love them!! we had one evil cow who used to destroy their nests - but she got asked to leave - They are great at catching all the flying bugs so I like them to stay!

I'v got 4 nests up my yard from them!!! They are really cute but can b a pain as they poo all over the place and on the horses when they in the stable and like fruity said they always dive bomb you!!!!

Yes we have lots of nests in each block Yard owner goes mad when people close the doors as they cant come in and out. Only bad thing is they poo everywhere

We have them and near loose our eyes when the dive down to get back into their stable. I stood admiring them one evening after a ride, went down to the field to pooh pick and came back to find they'd shat on my dressage saddle that I'd just bought... we now have a Love/Hate relationship!

We have a nest in our field shelter - but they keep jetisoning the baby birds, out of 5 there's now just 2 left.

We've got them too. Gorgeous, but they make a right mess! Thier timing is incredible - they arrive on the same date every year!
