Aghh, why put that on an advert? It looks like the horse is TOO bold in that, if you took it XC it would likely endanger your life...! And that first pic of jumping a rusty hanging gate just sends chills through me.

I must admit I didn't like the pic of it jumping a rusty gate - it doesn't look stable!

That horse has got a huuuuggggee pop in it but as Magic_Mincepie says it may be too bold for its own good - more likely to get you in trouble then out of it

I agree with Nats_UK. I used to hunt a horse who had a jump like that and he was sometimes prone to taking off too early because he was so bold and getting in all sorts of trouble!!

Thats why its being sold as a hunter, pure and simple, I would imagine - if you take it into a ring of any kind, it will have a complete hissy fit ! I notice it also says "loves to hunt, hunted with previous owners", i.e not its current ones, so reading between the lines perhaps they have tried to do other stuff with her and she frightens the life out of them.

That rusty gate picture makes me feel slightly sick. I wish it could see the outcome of the second pic down, actually - did she clear the fence from that distance and angle? Because it actually looks as if she would have landed slap bang in the middle of it, if you trace the trajectory.

Totally agree!

Totally agree weezy, have a good giggle sometimes at pics advertising horses, some would do the horse more justice without!! The owners must think there good tho or i guess they wouldn't use them!!!

This is the exact problem i have with my mare, far to bold and just takes a stride or more out, twice now she has ended up on the floor the other side of the fence, it's fine for the smaller fences but mine has done it in a 1.10m class and as i said earlier she ended up on the floor, its not funny and hard to stop,

People do have a very screwy idea of what are good ad piccies!

Agreed! In the unlikely event I was looking for a bold hunter that would tackle anything, these would convince me.

It would suit me fine for whipping in on! Like you Merlotmonster we jump gates like that out hunting or mine will infact prefer to jump the wire at the side of it.
I wouldn't want to hunt it in the field though!
