I can see why he didn't make a racehorse, even with his enormous gallop stride. He needed encouragement to even make it to gallop and then quite happily dropped back to trot when asked. He's a lazy 5 year old OTTB in a snaffle with a cavesson. Tally, on the other hand, firmly believes he's a racehorse and did an extra lap of the track as I couldn't get him to stop.

I just put Fready's entry in to Amberley PC ODE doing the 80cm. Nothing like throwing him in the deep end to see if he'll sink or swim.

Fready is by an Australian stallion called Perfectly Ready (by More than Ready) out of a NZ mare called Miss Toffelees. He raced under the name of Fready Cougar. Thankfully, he was a somewhat useless racehorse. He's such a chilled out dude, half the time I forget he's only 5.
