look what i am going to see today!!

we have a few section d's on our yard, very sweet guys, very honest and forgiving but from what i have heard/experienced they can be a bit bolsy. theres a 5yr gelding and hes a clutz. lol x ;)

there are a few welsh d's on our yard, both in the same field. cassey and layla, and of the whole fields around them are galloping, they are both stood still enjoying their feed.
Nebo is a good bloodline :) Cassey has a trace of Nebo black magic in her. Only thing i have with them are they are a bit greedy and would try anything for food! goodluck!! also this is the moms family tree.

We have a Section D mare aged 19 - she was and still is an excellent jumper, excelled at dressage and loved cross country. As a pony club pony it is if she was bred for it. As previously mentioned by other forumers they can be greedy and have their own characters which vary from the very sweet to the total bolshy. I think it all depends on their upbringing. As they are very greedy ours, and I know of several others have a tendency to laminitis if they ar allowed too much spring grass. (I once spent three days trying to catch ours in a large field) Personally, if you can get a good one they are brilliant - Nebo lines are always good if you want to breed from them but he was extremely prolific. I hope you get a good one.

He looks like a proper old fashioned chunky welsh COB! In my experience this type tend to have much better temprements than these light, faffy, airy fairy moden things, which tend to be sharp and spooky.

Ohhh, I love a bit of Welsh! My event pony was Welsh D x and was literally the perfect pony. It is true that they can be firey but I think that with a welsh you really get out what you put in. They can be fab! Hope he is lovely - let us know!
