It's a bit blurry. but only because of my unsteady camera hands, nothing to do with Otto moving!

He goes crossed eyed focussing on it, and then tries to lick it off when you let him get it!

He hasn't got the whole flicking it up and catching it yet.

Now he can Sit, Down, Stay, Paw (one then the other), Wave, Crawl, Lie down with a treat on each front paw and take each one as he is told and balance a biscuit on his nose until he is allowed to get it!!

He is destined for a life in ShowBiz, I Tells Ya!!!

Clever Otto

I used to have a boxer dog that could do that with a choc drop...... the streams of slobber used to put us off doing it often though

Zak and Millie dont have big enough noses (or brains) to learn that one

Impressive(and you've given me new ideas for teaching my lab, the paws one...think it's fair to teach a blind dog? :O)

Hehe clever Otto

I taught all mine that - the lab and the goldie are fab at it. The collie would stretch her toungue out the side of her mouth to knock the treat off then catch it on the way down

'Tis true, and I get most of my enjoyment making him wait for various items of food

He is so good about waiting, that if you shove a biscuit in his face, he will move away from it until you tell him to get it

I found him nearly drowning in his own drool the other day, as I had chucked a few crumbs in his dish and walked off, completely forgot to tell him to get it

Poor Sod!!

Our collie was a nightmare when we were out and about (she was a farm dog really, not a pet). When we were on hols on year we walked to a pub nd had lunch in the garden. She wanted to keep walking and kept telling us how lazy we were - the only way we could keep her quiet long enough to stuff some food in was to stick a sausage in front of her and tell her to leave it

She lay there staring at it until we'd finished (we've never eaten so fast

) We all got indigestion on the way back
