So, after a week where I have felt more stressed then the entire pandemic ?, I can now report that Lucca is hopefully getting better! After a blood transfusion yesterday, there was some odd results with his red blood cells going up but the platelets going down- however today after having to drive the blood sample to the laboratory myself ?- Everything has gone back to normal levels and he is much brighter and enjoying himself!
His next vet visit all going well isnt until Tuesday, so until then he can stay home! They are still unsure of the original cause- poisoning was ruled out after a test the other day and it’s looking more likely that it was an isolated incident!
Thankyou to everyone who wished us well! Have a good weekend!957DEB77-75D3-47F9-BB36-46478784B595.jpeg2309BFB0-6FB6-4F46-80C5-69C00B7C54F8.jpeg

I love a happy ending. Being a lab he could have eaten anything so keep an eye on him when he’s snuffling the ground. My little schnauzer was a terror for gulping gravel sized stones for the first few months..they do test us don’t they!
I like his head,he looks a lovely dog.
