honestly i wish he could hav stayed put in the vets tonight, im paranoid about him, i keep thinking hes twitching and cant tell whats twitching and whats sleeping/dreaming :( got the tv down v low and just a little lamp on in here to keep all quiet and calm, Im worried :(

Awwwww that is BRILLIANT he is home Vizslak :):):):) You are doing all the right things for him, try not to worry too much - and if in doubt, just **** off Cayla by ringing her every 5 minutes for advice :D

Can totally understand your paranoia, but the vets wouldn't have let you take him if they weren't sure it was the best thing for him. I am sure a decent nights sleep in familiar surroundings will make all the difference.

He's bound to feel a bit under the weather, but home is surely the best place for him. You are doing the right things, and the vet or Cayla are only a phonecall away:)

Yay! As everyone else has said, a night in his own bed will do him the world of good and the Vets wouldn't have let him go if they were worried! I know nothing we will say will stop you worrying though :D

Heres to him going from strength to strength!

I'm so so pleased to hear this :) I'm sure he will be happier to be home with you and will be much brighter in the morning. Is Tilly completely back to normal now too?

So so pleased to see him home. He looks a bit sheepish, do you think he knows he did wrong?!

I'm sure a good nights rest will see him much brighter in the morning.

hes settled a bit now, Im not as worried as I was. I think screaming all day and then the journey home in a strange car and then seeing the girls and home again was all a bit too much...I have figured that most of what I have feared is twitches is his lack of spacial awareness (left over side effect from the 56 hours whacked out on diazapam I guess) and what hes actually doing is going to sniff something and getting too close to it and startling himself....I know what I mean :o :D It looks like a twitch but isnt. I had a friend come over for a few hours to help because I couldnt nurse him and keep him quiet whilst the girls needed feeding etc.

oh yippee I am thrilled for you....and Boots said as soon as he's well enough can they teach him how to open the fridge!

Whoop Whoop runs around the room jumping up and down waving hands (sorry can't do it around the whole flat to bloody cold) Welcome home Milo put your paws up little man and let mummy wait on you just don't go near that horrid fridge hugs and kisses from me lil man and the girls and Im sure the cats send them to but shhh they like to pretend they are too posh for dogs xxxx

He's milking the sympathy vote. If he was crying all day I'm sure he's happier and more settled at home. Best wishes for a continued recovery.
