Another unorganised day [ nothing unusual about that ]Bad night with the toddler so had a job getting away on time and didn't plait as he has hardly any mane because he has sweetitch and his hood zip broke last Saturday and he got bitten everywhere ,poor thing.
When we got to Solihull found out that the first 2 had withdrawn and I was first to go in 20 mins. Quickly tacked up and realised that one of my gaiters was missing.I had breeches on so you can imagine how good it looked,breeches, jod boots and no plaits.
I did say sorry to the judge and she said it was fine, he went beautifully and won the prlim qual.
Then did the novice qualifer and had to rush off as Mum had to go to work.Just phoned and won the restricted but 2nd overall .Clever horse.
One day we will look smart ,have time to enjoy it and win but I won't hold my breath

Luckily i keep my boots in the lorry, but im always worried the zip is going to snap or something, then id have nothing to ride in!!

My boot that I usually wear started to rip by the zip and we took them back to Townsfield to see if they could be mended under warranty ,they were happy to send them off , that was a month ago, they have sent a message that they are being replaced with new ones [what a waste of the old ones] but they are waiting for them to come in from abroad.I hope they arrive this week ,I'm eventing on Saturday and dressaging again on Sunday.Needed to quickly do some qualifiers as even though we have been doing lots of comps none were dressage qualifiers.[ regionals at prelim,petplan at novice ,dressage to music , comb. training, riding club but not qualifiers for winters]
Bought my jacket home as it hardly does up and that looks awful as well , kept meaning to loose some weight

I do the same P_G and my zip did go at Sheepgate Premier League of all places - in the end I bought a black vetrap and bandaged the boot shut! Of all the places for it to happen

I forgot my shirt once...didn't want to crease it so hung it on the door so I could put it in the lorry last...

Luckily I was wearing a white T shirt so had to tape my stock/collar to the T shirt with duct tape...
