As title really any tips greatly appreciated. It's a 15 year old Bateson Deauville. G&T to best tip
Looking at a trailer tomorrow and tips on things to check and how?

Take a man 
I do, then it's his fault if something goes wrong at a later date.
He can get on his back underneath and have a look at the guts of it for rust/rot etc.
Pull back any matting and have a good poke and prod around of the floor.
Open and close ramps/door/partition/breast and breech bars yourself:
a) to see that they work, and
b) to see that you can manage them, some ramps/partitions are horribly heavy.
Check tyres for wear - and that they match.
Obviously see it hitched up to your own or vendors vehicle to check hitch/electrics etc.
