Looking at new pet insurance

Looking to move from M&S but not sure which insurer to go with.

Looked at P@H but they seem very expensive compared to M&S. Really like the look of E&L but not really heard anything about them.

Its a time limited policy for a 7yr old medium male cross breed (chipped, neutered ect).

Would lifetime cover be a better option?

Pet insurance.co.uk looks good too so many choices

Would try and avoid E & L. Try and go for lifetime cover, this will cover a condition for life. If your dog becomes ill and needs ongoing meds and blood tests etc., it can get quite expensive, a time limited policy usually only covers for 12 months, after this you'd have to pay for all treatment for that condition yourself. Obviously just bear in mind that any conditions/illnesses your pet has had in the past, probably won't be covered by another insurance company.

E&L has a terrible reputation for not paying out & petinsurance.co.uk is E&L under another name.
Petplan are reliable as is Agria.
M&S has a good reputation so why move?

Pet plan can't fault them and pay out promptly. Had a text from them today as a matter of fact letting me know they had paid out my just short of 4k claim. No questions asked. Our for life policy is 36 a month for our boy and been worth every penny
