Looking for my new best friend

Would love a staffy or staffy x

Must be older than 6 months and housetrained and if it walks well on the lead that would be great!

I'm offering a nice big house and a huge secure garden with no other pets. Dog will be left a maximum of 3 hours vey rarely. I have a horse so lots of opportunities for running round secure fields and exploring barns and ponds.

Basically I'm looking for something to adore and who loves me back, will be sleeping in my bedroom and pampered.

Would prefer something in the Midlands but would travel for the right dog

Home checks MORE than welcome!

Either! Probably prefer a boy TBH but a girl is equally welcome and means I can buy blingy pink collars!

Where abouts are you, if you are near London definitely go to Battersea, they have so many staffies in there, you can actually go on their website and view and there's lots of information about the dogs as to what homes they are suitable for, ie children, other dogs, cats, etc.

Or try your local shelters.

Staffies are serious animal rescue dogs, people get them, then dont want them. So if you want one to lvoe and who will appreciate it, try a rescue! I personally know someone with a staf x lab who I would happily give you, but obv I think that might count as stealing on my part! o well never mind! hehe

But no rescue centres for staffies I would say, but obv that would mean spending time with the dog at the shelter to get to know them prior to taking them home!

Ahhh wish i hadnt looked now!! The dog called Willy on page 2 at Babbington was brought into us at work as a stray. I remember him as someone had clipped all his back legs and back off so he looked like a lion!! He is a real sweetheart!

Definately try Birmingham Dogs Home - I got one of mine from there.

The other rescues can be VERY picky with homes, but seeing as you're offering what sounds like the perfect home, also try the Blue Cross in Bromsgrove. There's also the RSPCA in Weoley Castle (as someone else suggested), but they don't allow people to view the dogs, you have to look through a catalogue

Good luck in your search

Hi Minigal,

That's great! (I was just about to chip in that North Clwyd Animal Rescue always seem to have a lot of rescued Staffies!)

Wishing you + your new friend lots of happy times + years together! (My Staffie x Lab is a perfect pooch, + my best friend, may yours be also), all bests, BS x
