Does anyone have any recommendations or knows of anything, the internet in a minefield! I'm looking for a dressage stallion to put to my mare, she's 17hh and little long in the back so I'm looking for something smaller and shorter coupled in the hopes of preventing a long giant! She's by Ferrolan (g.sire Ferro) so I need a different dressage line. I've attached her breeding below.
I'm not looking for a world beater but something nice.

Really? I’m surprised that anyone, others than those that have already done the deed, would be planning any pregnancies at the moment

Definitely non essential travelling whichever way you go about it, vets are going onto emergency only so no chance of them being involved, live cover if the mare is at stud already but if not moving her is not essential.

I'm amazed you're making such stupid assumptions. Purely research at a time when I've been on isolation for weeks!!

Nothing wrong with looking forward to better times..

Sorry, can't help with the stallion.

Always a negative nancy somewhere!

That was exactly my thought, I've been stuck in for 15 days now and we were looking at putting her in foal next year. I thought it would be harmless to ask during the research phase! :)

If you put this in your original post then it would have made more sense and not upset you, there was a similar overreaction the other day when it was pointed out that clipping fully may not be a good idea when riding may be restricted, the OP then declared they were going to wait until after CV 19 and just wanted to know which clippers to use, we are not mind readers, a well thought out post will usually get a considered response, getting stroppy if you don't like the answer will usually mean being ignored.

Do you chime in on every post I make for a reaction?
You have no idea about me, no clue as to my situation or my job. Maybe stop assuming the worst of everyone.
Again, nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

Don’t worry, with an attitude like that I’ll opt for the say nothing at all in future on your posts
My attitude? You jumped on a post assuming I'm incompetent about isolating.
Please do. Cyber bullying is not what I came here for. Shame a few ruin this forum

This whole thread would have gone completely differently if the OP had just mentioned planning for the future.

I think everyone is just so on edge worrying about the next weeks and months ? it would be fun to think about nice things when it's all over but the OP did read as though she wasn't aware that there'll be no stud work going on with vets for the foreseeable..
