As the title suggests, I am currently looking for an event rider to sponsor through work and wonder whether anyone has any suggestions.

I am a lawyer and currently in the proceess of establishing an Equine Law Deaprtment within the firm. It seems to me that the best way to do this is by way of word of mouth and advertising at events and so, we are looking to sponsor an event rider based in the Home Counties/Surrey.

I am looking for a good amateur rider, competing at Novice level and beyond. If anyone has any suggestions as to who I could approach I'd be grateful.
 
I would love to be considered but might not be quite what you are looking for as I have one horse at Novice, and another aimed at the grassroots champs.

How about Hattie Roger-Smith? She is Hampshire based and very well connected being Tina Cook's cousin...

From a business perspective what about Izzy Taylor (don't know her personally) but is currently sponsored by KBIS Equine insurance which may (or may not) sit well with what you are trying to achieve? Think she is actually based in Banbury but competes at all the Surrey/Hants events and KBIS are Hants based.

Or maybe Alex Hua Tian/Mark Todd depending on your budget?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll put together some names and make some enquiries.

NR99: The suggestion of Izzy Taylor is a good one, as you say the insurance side of it would work well with us. I had thought of Alex Hua Tian but think it might be pushing the budget and ditto Mark Todd.

Craig and Hattie Roger-Smith are worth looking into, thanks guys
 
Tessa White is an up and coming event rider based near Winchester. She combines eventing with being a medical student so she has super communication skills and would be a credit to your new company.

She has fantastic results at 1* and Novice with her top horse being placed consistently, he is aimed for a CIC** this year. She is also bringing on some younger horses through the grades so she is seen regularly at SJ and dressage in the local area.
