Looking for a horse!!! can you help.... where is the best place to look??

A friend of mine is looking for a horse, around 16hh upwards, 10 years + must be good to hack on own, good on the roads with traffic, box, shoe, clip and o.k to live in or out. she does'nt want to compete just a happy hacker.. where might be the best place to look....

I would normally say Rokers board, or Buttons but they have next to nothing on them at the moment.

yep she has look on Rokers board ... she would like a happy hacker horse 99% sound, and not something ready for retirement
most adverts on the tack shop boards are comp horse's and are £££££££'s. The lady is in her 40's a very good rider but she works so therefore she cannot allways ride the horse every day

If she just wants a happy hacker, have you considered looking at those in need of re-homing from rescue centers? Before I had my own, I shared some lovely horses that had been re-homed from the WHW (then ILPH) and they were more than capable of hacking, did local shows, and were in fact great all rounders, who happily wintered out.
