Looking for a livery near Caversham/ Emmer green/ sonning common

Hi

I am looking for a small, friendly yard for my horse in the Caversham, Peppard, Emmer green and sonning common area. I would like assisted DIY or part Livery (depending on cost). I am struggling to find anywhere wih vacancies that doesn't cost a fortune! Does anyone have any suggestions of places to try? <font color="blue"> </font>
 
Frieze Farm...Sonning Common, doesnt cost the earth, does from DIY to full livery, generally a really nice yard, fantastic facilties, lunge pen, school, jumping field in summer, you can hack on the land there. I didnt do livery yards before going here and very happy there with my 4 assorted equines!!

Its farm set up, with stables, so not a posh poncy yard but it does what it says on the tin and yard owner is very nice and laid back!
 
There is also Tanners Yard but not sure if vacancies and owner does not generally assist at weekends....and you have to bring them in every night.
 
Thanks - will try Frieze Farm, sounds exactly like what I am looking for. Do you have a contact name and number or would it be best to just go down at the weekend and enquire?
 
Echo Frieze Farm, am not a livery there but know a lot of them, and they are a very nice bunch as is the YO. Its not the poshest place ever but practical and horses all seem very happy there. If I were looking in that area would def be my first port of call.
Others are I think Dysons Wood if that is still there? If you go as far as Henley there are few more such as Sheephouse Stud, Friar Park has vacancies I believe, also having a blank moment but there is one up at Rotherfield Greys, Chalmers or Carters or something?

It really isn't posh at all, but if you can overlook that then you will find a diverse, friendly bunch of liveries, a very relaxed yard owner, completely flexible arrangements and genuinely 24/7/365 turnout (single sex herds) should you so wish. Happy to give more info over PM if you want.
