Having looked in all the usual places H & H/ horsequest etc... there just doesnt seem to be much about - guess its just the time of year ? am trying to find something young 5/6/7 that will go novice / 1* , just open to any suggestions really , have a decent ish budget - any ideas really welcome - thanks

Well they're not cheap.. but they are high quality hand picked horses considered to have significant potential so you are getting your moneys worth but not somewhere to go for a bargain. I would suggest ringing him to discuss your requirements and budget -I don't know what his prices are likely to be during the current financial climate.

I always look under show horses as well. Especially Riding horses they have the right breeding and conformation to event. We have also successfully bought Sjers and converted them to eventing. I think sometimes looking outside of the box can help.

I think you could do well to post some wanted adverts on the usual websites you're searching on. Ive done this in the past and have bought horses via it. A lot of people IMO arent advertising yet due to the market and also due to time of year, I for example have one for sale but havent advertised it for the past month as simply no calls over Xmas and NY.
