Can anyone help? Normal routes being followed (springer rescue) but thought it was worth putting this out on here as well

Very very good friends of mine have just lost their elderly sprocker bitch( who came through a rescue, they didn't set out to buy a designer cross!) Much loved and highly neurotic dog and they are understandably devastated. They are looking for 1 or 2 dogs. Springer or springer cross. Preferably not elderly having just lost theirs. Dog(s) will have a real 5* home, go to the office each day, go away at weekends so dog will be passported ( have their own plane) and will have proper long walks.

Their previous dog suffered so badly from separation anxiety and she could never be left in the house alone. They persevered and worked around it so really do try.

So criteria is ..Springer or cross, rescue only ( they feel strongly about that) neurotic and tricky dogs will be seriously considered. Children are pretty much grown up ( teenagers). Anyone know of anything? Friends live in Berkshire, also go down to Cornwall a lot as have a house there or without sounding idiotic, if there is an airport nearby would fly to find a dog.

:):D;):p

Same age as his lookalike, Brig. I'd have more were it not for our werewolf! He's nearly had the fence down the last couple of days because the son has come to look after our neighbour who's had a stroke and his dog is the one that jumped on Zak as a pup and made him DA :(

They don't want a very elderly dog just because they don't want to go through the trauma of what they have just been through for a bit..keep them coming guys!

saw this on my facebook tonight, he is in the NE which may be a problem though :-(

This is Jake. He is 5 years old. His foster carers decided with his love for tennis balls they would try him at flyball. He has really taken to it and doing his first starters competition next week with Calverley. Jake would love a forever home that he could continue his love for the sport. He has been in foster care with NESSR since December with no interest :( He is house trained, crate trained, has a good recall and living in his foster home with multiple dogs :) Could you be the forever flyball home he would love? Any more info please contact NESSR or myself.

We have got a springer spaniel and wanted to get a playmate for her, we looked at two different springer rescue centres, but found that North West Springer Spaniel Rescue was by far and away the most professional (NWESSR).

We got a lovely loving boy from there (Freddie), but sadly our time together only last a year as he became very ill with epilepsy and died aged 2... it was a horrible thing to go through with such a young dog. However... NWESSR were brilliant from start to finish (and beyond).

We still support the charity and would happily do anything to support Springers (or any other spaniels for that matter).

One has just come on my fb news feed. The group are called working cocker spaniel rescue and they have a young bitch called benji needing a home. She is advertised as a springer cross.
