looking for a springer pup...

Not sure if i am meant to post this here but here goes!! Looking for a springer puppy, preferably a bitch. It will be both pet and worker. We are in scotland so that is preferable but not essaential! Fab home ready and waiting!!

Why not try some of the springer rescues? We got a fully trained working gundog from one! Try www.itsaspringthing.co.uk and go on the forum. Lots of springer people who could point you in the right direction for a pup or young rescue.

thanks everyone!! Unfortunately devon is a little too far!! Will check out the springer forum thanks! Not sure we are ion the market for a rescue - it would have a pretty specific job to do and need to be as well trained as poss to do it from the start. Unfortunately no pointers for us - our neighbours have just imported a lovely one from germany and she is stunning!! If we can't get the right springer i think my parents would like a golden retriever to take shooting/pet but want a small one rather than a show type - not an easy task!!

have found lots of breeders on the internet but nothing better than being recomended one by experience or lines!!

!! Unfortunately none available at buccleuch. Saw one litter locally but not for us. may have to put the pringer on hold for a while and get another golden retirver for now! must think positive!!
